Chain Gang Supply Co. is an independent, officer-owned brand created for correctional professionals, academy recruits, and the families who stand behind them.
My name is David Mathena. I am a working Florida correctional officer with more than two decades of experience in security and public safety. I created Chain Gang Supply Co. because corrections is too often treated as an afterthought by brands claiming to represent law enforcement and first responders.
Correctional work has its own culture, language, pressures, pride, and unmistakably dark sense of humor. The people working behind the fence understand long shifts, short staffing, mandatory overtime, count time, locked doors, difficult posts, and the constant responsibility of maintaining safety and order in an environment most people will never experience.
Chain Gang Supply Co. was created to represent that world honestly.
We design corrections-focused apparel, academy gear, morale goods, accessories, and gifts. Some products reflect pride in the profession. Others draw from the humor that helps officers survive exhausting shifts and come back to do it again. Every product is intended to feel familiar to the people who have actually worked the tiers, yards, dorms, gates, control rooms, transport assignments, chow halls, medical posts, and every position in between.
This is not generic police merchandise with a gray stripe added to it. Corrections is its own profession, with its own identity, and it deserves a brand created specifically for the people who do the job.
Chain Gang Supply Co. began with apparel, but the vision extends far beyond shirts. As the company grows, we plan to expand thoughtfully into headwear, patches, academy essentials, accessories, morale items, and other products created for the corrections community.
We are building this company one product, one customer, and one hard-earned sale at a time. No manufactured corporate mythology. No pretending the job is something it is not. Just an authentic corrections brand built from inside the profession.
